Fallen Angels
These are the main antagonists of the story. Their goal is as of yet unknown but they want to exterminate humanity and make Earth their own. These angels have lost God's favour and were cast down with Lucifer

A ruthless and brutal woman with no qualms about killing humanity, she leads the fallen angels with drive and determination. Called the Ice Queen for her utter apathy towards humanity, and her powerful mastery over ice, she will not rest until she leads the fallen angels to victory.

Status: Second in command
Ability: Electrokinesis
Weapon: Twin sai
A powerful boy with the power to generate crackling bolts of electricity, he is much less serious than his superior, tending to joke around and be more friendly to the rank and file soldiers. Because of this, he is generally more popular. He is a soldier at heart however, and follows orders to the letter.

Ability: Hydrokinesis
Weapon: Two of

She did not turn against God with full certainty, and when she was cast down was denied by many of the other fallen angels because of her past. However, her battle skills cannot be denied, and she fights viciously when angered.

Human Resistance Force
This group is dedicated to eliminating the Fallen Angels at all costs. They work under the impression that the world was and should continue to be their's, and because of that fight anyone who they deem to be an enemy.

Status: Leader
Ability: Electrokinesis
Weapon: Fighting Stick
Often serious to a fault, this woman formed the Human Resistance Force after the fallen angels attacked, and ruthlessly exterminates them for their sins, which she see's as unforgivable. She is often serious to a thought, but decided emotion meant weakness after the fallen angel attack and hid her emotions away. She fights with speed and dexterity.
Mark
Status: Second in Command
Ability: Telekinesis
Weapon: Rapier
Again more witty and less serious than his leader, Mark raises the morale of the HRF with jokes and by interacting with the foot soldiers. He is, however, possessed of a strong morality and dislikes taking life, though he will do it to defend himself and others. He has a keen intellect and prefers to work on the sidelines. He prefers to use his power to fight.

This group formed to write law after the original government was decimated by the fallen angels. They make enemies of both other factions

Ability: Pyrokinesis
Weapon: Machine Gun
Originally a light hearted and carefree man, he was drafted into the government shortly after the fallen angel attack, and soon rose up the ranks to become its figurehead and leader. He is ruthless towards the fallen angels and the HRF, even though hi former friends are in the latter. Morality lurks just below the surface

Ability: Form and push out shields as weapons

An American girl who came to England to be with her lover, she joined the government under the promise that she would be making a change. However, she is not entirely happy with her life transition, and is having doubts about Damon's system.

Having been thrown from ordinary life into fighting she had to make the adjustment fast, and just couldn't manage. However, she has a strong sense of justice, and can fight when she has to.

An opinionated and outspoken woman, Kelly was the first to outright fight a fallen angel. Her life was torn apart by the coming of the fallen angels, and she is pissed. She can be quick to anger and stronger than she looks. She doesn't want anything to do with the current battle, but if she doesn't go to disaster, disaster comes to her, much to her annoyance.

A non-violent person by nature, Tia was caught at the centre of a rift explosion between two worlds when the fallen angels came through. She was granted various powers because of this, and all three sides vye for her to join their side. Tia is the ultimate weapon.
